LEDSON EPIX9+ Strobe Wide Driving Beam auxiliary light 9" (Powerboost)

The Epix9+ Strobe with Wide driving beam has a 40° wide beam pattern (compared to 20° for the driving beam), covering a larger area and providing optimal visibility even in very demanding environments. The wide beam pattern makes it easier to spot animals and other unexpected obstacles in good time, contributing to increased safety for both drivers and other road users. Despite the wide beam pattern, the Epix9+ offers a range of 663 metres in powerboost mode and 359 metres in E-approved mode, providing a well-balanced combination of width and length in the beam pattern.

Proprietary Swedish design
Epix9+ Strobe from Ledson is an innovative series of LED auxiliary lights with integrated strobe lights that enhance the appearance and visibility of the vehicle. The series is equipped with five different strobeing patterns, one of which is ECE R65 approved. Ledson's proprietary Swedish design, combined with high performance, gives the auxiliary lights a distinctive and exclusive appearance that clearly distinguishes the vehicle in traffic. Light performance and design are carefully balanced to provide both function and aesthetics.

Strobe patterns
Single strobe (ECE R65 approved), double strobe, triple strobe, quadruple strobe and continuous hyper strobe.

Synchronisable and alternating strobe patterns
Epix9+ Strobe can be synchronised with other Epix9+ Strobe auxiliary lights, allowing all units to use the same strobe pattern and strobe in unison. It is also possible to create alternating strobe patterns by dividing the auxiliary lights into two groups that strobe in opposition to each other, for example, right/left or upper/lower. All five strobe patterns can be used alternately, giving a total of ten different combinations. Synchronisation and alternating operation can be performed with an unlimited number of auxiliary lights without any restriction on the number of units.

Dynamic position light
The Epix9+ Strobe is equipped with dynamic position lights that light up with a movement across the front of the Auxiliary light, from one side to the other, before reaching full brightness. This feature gives the vehicle a clear and recognisable light signature.

Pulse-controlled powerboost
Epix9+ Strobe comes with a powerboost function, an extra power mode for occasions when maximum brightness is required. The light mode is easily switched with the high beam lever by pulsing (light pulse), making it easy to adjust the amount of light to suit current needs. The new generation of powerboost from Ledson is activated in a few simple steps, as described in the accompanying instructions. The Auxiliary light is supplied in E-approved mode and the powerboost mode is activated as instructed.

Included
The delivery includes a Ledson Epix9+ Strobe LED auxiliary light 9", bracket, bolts and screws for mounting with one or two mounting points, a 6-pin DT connector (to be supplemented with Ledson Connect) and installation instructions.



Please note that the DT connector must not be cut, as this increases the risk of moisture damage and voids the warranty.
